  9. This file contains information which is not included in the online help located within the AutoMenus II Control Panel. Detailed operating instructions can be obtained by using the online help system.

  11. Installing AutoMenus II
  12. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  13. To install AutoMenus II, just drag the AutoMenus II icon on top of the System Folder icon if using System 7. The Control Panel will be placed in the proper folder automatically for you. If you are using System 6, place the AutoMenus II icon in the System Folder.

  15. Note that you will not be able to access the Control Panel until after you restart your Macintosh™.

  17. Personalizing AutoMenus II
  18. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  19. To personalize AutoMenus II after you have registered with me, open the Control Panel and wait for the registration dialog to appear. Enter the keycode provided to you when registered and your name or company and press "OK".

  21. The AMConverter application is no longer needed for AutoMenus II.  Do not use the AMConverter application on AutoMenus II or you could damage your copy.

  58. Δ AutoMenus II now correctly selects the special menus located on the right side of the screen under System 7. It also correctly recognizes menus put there by third party software writers such as ColorSwitch™ by Andrew Welch.
